Thor not trying to be rude or mean here but how are you not comprehending there was no agreed time? You guys said 7pm we did not only not agree but said it wasn't good and gave an alternative date that you shot down and said we are coming 7pm.

Further more ore it seems like you guys are just bitter as you had a plan to use a DB during war. Don't be mad we outsmarted you.

I had a similar encounter with Hippo ages back. Except I mailed and offered a termed war. I can't remember all the details of it but basically we couldn't agree on terms so I said that it was okay and we would try again in a month or so. He gave me the same reply as to you "We're declaring anyways on this day, at this time whether you like it or not" (basically)
We were quite annoyed with the disrespect so we decided to use a similar tactic seeing as no terms were agreed upon.
and it turned out to be a fairly intense war and...

People should note that SA recently had a 2v1 to test the water and were ready to fight.

But not this weekend... Myself and MK are both away on business and it's my gf 21st and I'm away for the weekend as well.

But as I was given no choice we deployed the correct strategy and tactics to win. I'm really pleased with the determination and execution of our plan, it just goes to show the strength and depth of our team.

Think torn has got too used to termed wars being the norm and "surprise declares" being a bad/negative thing. Maybe the war system as it makes it so that this sorta has to be the case, which is a shame :S

I think this is not the fight either of the factions wanted, and hopefully doesn't rule out a "proper" war in the near future with less controversy. :P

We can set it up no problem. Z has always been very respectable: when he last contacted me about a war we agreed to delay until we had gained some practice with Mercs and the new attack engine.

We are definitely still the underdogs but we always enjoy a good fight with JFK. Watch this space.
