Yeah I really can't see why you'd think there was a problem here? All seems fine to me.

Your respect would have been slowly dropping for each additional attack (even after the other factions could claim victory).

i closely watched the faction respect once i joined that faction Well the faction got destroyed
lets talk about this [image: i.imgur.com]
My faction VS Calculative as the screenshots show 49 attacks and they took away 2 respect it stayed there for a long time there was no change in respect but the attacks went to maybe 54 or more (wasnt online when the faction was destroyed :( ) but the respect Never changed

There were 71 additional attacks AFTER factions could claim victory. Factions are deleted within an hour after reaching 0 respect. All looks fine here.

I created this bug thread because it wasnt aware of faction automatically losing respect [as fluffy said 1 respect a day] also i wasnt aware that the respect taken away from us shown in faction warbase isnt accurate i thought that calculative attacked us and stole just 2 respect while the faction lost like 6 day

In the warbase, it shows the respect gained for the individual wars. That has very little to do with your factions actual respect value.

So you look at the respect GAINED by each opposing faction in your warbase that has nothing to do with your respect LOST in these wars. Is that what you're saying?
flufffy [494285]

I'm asking chedburn. It makes more sense to me that the respect gained (ie what is shown in the warbase) by the other factions in a war should match what your faction loses.
Chedburn [1] Admin Developer

The respect score for each faction determines the winner. It's been this way for what, 4 or 5 years? It's how much respect each faction has gained during the war. Factions lose something like 1/4 of what the opposing faction gained from them.

This system is all disappearing at some point anyway - probably this year.

I'm interested to know the outcome of the new update.

@fluffy I don't entirely agree that what one faction gains the other should lose. If that was the case OC's would need to be revamp to gain a lot more respect as we would just be circulating respect through factions with OC's being the only new source of respect. OC's cannot keep up with the demand for respect for upgrades. I do agree with the current system the gain/loss should be altered maybe to lose half of what the other gains. But a 1:1 ratio seems like it would hurt the smaller factions and larger factions in time.
flufffy [494285]

If the other factions gained 2 respect (in total) from the wars then it makes it even harder to understand why this faction was losing 6 + respect a day (they only lost 0.5 respect from warring). Ugghhhh. This is why I never really got into warring, it's beyond my mental capacity to work out xD

That's how factions were, and you chained or your faction got destroyed... ahh, the good old days, when the threat of losing stuff made the game fun.
philoten [1646213]

Oh no, I'm entirely for raising the threat of losing factions. I just think OC's shouldn't be the only way to introduce new Respect into the loop. As the amount needed for upgrades is higher than any one faction can make. Which means a lot of factions will be destroyed and less people would make factions with HOF just chaining on them to take all their respect. They would stop making factions so HOF cant take all their respect. Then that would hurt the HOF or any large faction for that matter. With no small guys to farm off. I'm all for a 1:1 ratio if we can get more respect being introduced into play somehow.
