As you may all know the easter egg event is actively going on, with this event i have encountered false eggs or 'invisible eggs'. what happens is since i dont have the greatest of internet speeds sometimes the page takes a few seconds to load and on occasion a box with the white page icon appears before disappearing. since the start of this event i have seen such boxes after highlighting the page and have had these boxes appear and have clicked on them with nothing happening. the problem i have come across is that i don't know if these are errors (bugs) from the new system or something more elaborate because from the first time i have clicked these i have found only 3 eggs and have been very active with my searching. could someone please explain what these are and am i being punished with being unable to find eggs for clicking these invisible boxes that come up when i highlight the page seeking eggs.

Stop clicking on the invisible eggs (that you are describing). You're not supposed to click them. I believe they are an anti-scripter measure.
3 eggs found is excellent. A lot of people have found only 1 or 2, some even 0. I have 3 eggs as well.
if that's what they are then does clicking them have any ill effect on the player for example notify admins that i have clicked these and then said admin lowers the spawn rate for eggs for anyone who clicks them?
Ched said in his announcement for the competition that they won't discuss or give details about any anti scripting measures in place, so no one rightly knows.
Just stop clicking them. Only click the visible ones.
Lol complaining about finding three eggs.
I have one egg and it says I'm expected to get 8 tokens. That will change as more eggs are found, but it shows even having any eggs is fairly good at this point.
As for your question, like Link said, don't click them. They are an anti-scripting measure and may reduce the spawning of real eggs.
No. I heard from people that it will take longer time for REAL eggs for spawn again. :)
