A short while ago i read on the forum the story of a player who bought a high value item from another players bazaar. Right after the sale the seller was mugged. Obviously the buyer was implicated but swears they had no part to play. Players are watching bazaars waiting for a high value item to disappear, then they mug.

The reason i bring this up is it just happened to me, i was chatting with a player negotiating price and right after i bought it he told me he was mugged. I do not buy/mug and think it ruins the trading aspect of this game. A friend of mine just had it happen to him but with points.

I just want everyone to be aware that if you get purchase mugged, it may not be the buyer, but simply someone stalking your listing waiting for the chance to strike.

Post a list and ask around if they have any relatives, friends, or even anyone they ever chatted with. Blacklist all of them too.

Not sure why people expect to be care free when trading in a crime game, in a weird way I feel sorry for muggers with the blacklist thing going on and mug cooldowns I imagine finding a good mug would take a bit of effort now. I was just discussing buy mugging with a few faction mates and frankly im just worried an aspect of the game that kept people active is now being killed off

This has been going on for quite some time.

One possible way to check whether that person is the mugger is to look at the stats of the player who you think mugged you. If their money mugged stat is the same as it was a couple of days ago, it wasn't them. Not a guaranteed accurate method but in many cases it works.

Its just part of the game and a very valid strategy to mug. Its just part of the game. From what i see, mugging isnt easy. It takes a lot of time and patience.

It's just part of the game. Yes I've been mugged after purchase. Just part of the game. Get over it. Sheesh, it's not like it's the whole cookie jar. If you trade with people with a higher amount of enemies than friends, you might want to question why long before messaging.

Just remember that there are 2 kinds of muggers. Those that use cash to buy and then mug.. and those that stalk their victims and mug after their item has been bought.

Blacklisting the right person works. Blacklisting the wrong one hurts your ability to trade well (there are only so many people who buy SE's, boosters and such.

It's a crime game after all, mugging is a crime... I have no clue why people keep whining about this "strategy"
Blacklist him if you have a clue who did it. End of story


P.S. Don't you guys want an update to "check" if you want to be attacked or no, by friends or by anyone.. just like reviving
