We use gmail for our business use, we have never had an issue with gmail in the past, but now it has stopped working we can send mails from the gmail account to the gmail account, but from outside email address we can not receive any new emails to our gmail, nor does it show as not being sent from the other email account to the gmail account, any help would be appreciated

1. Log into gmail account at gmail.com so you can confirm that account is physically working and check for mail there. ( I assume you just use one free gmail account as opposed to multiple accounts using gmail for business service.)

2. Test your account for sending/receiving using the Microsoft connectivity tool below.

Y
ou can test both inbound and outbound Connectivity.

3. Then recheck your device mail application is working for send/receive correctly.

Longer term for business, its much better to have your own domain that you can control mail for, and looks much more professional than mybusiness@gmail.com but I appreciate this is beyond your question here.

Sorry for the OT, but it is perfectly possible to have gmail accounts like myname@mybusiness.com , just FYI.

Yes I'm aware of this, its much like office 365 / hosted exchange online- these are services I resell in RL.

As long as you are in control of your own domain, and its DNS, this can be configured.

Are you using a desktop or laptop? What browser are you using, and is it up to date?
What kind of connection to the internet and is it faster than 1Mbps?

Not sure if you even check this thread anymore... But are you using browsers to check/send/receive emails or are you using a mail client such as Thuderbird? (If not using Thunderbird, I would..)

We have routed the gmail through outlook express to over come this issue, as nothing else seemed to work for some reason, thank you everyone who tried to help.

my advice - switch to o365.. get your domain and such verified, if you need help routing the mail or anything let me know, was 3rd line support for o365 for 2 years.
