Players make suggestions - Devs/Ched decides what gets implemented
Setting up a structure where players can "force" changes to get implemented is bad and won't work.
Example: You can easily get 500 people to vote take mugging away completely, but it's a core component of the game and should't be removed
I don't think that for taking mugging away would ever happen. If enough "shady" things are getting brute forced in then the game devs can research who is doing all the rating +s.
I wouldn't trust players to decide what went into the game... [:sick:]
Fair point I think you'll find my edit a lot less open to serious faults.

sorry I dont like this idea. It is easy to buy rates (or ask fris to do it) if you know enough people.
I have seen so many stupid suggestions with close to 100 ratings because they know enough people. So, it is hard to rate down these post NOT to get implanted. what if stupid suggestions hit 500? coz we can buy ratings through trade chat and fris.
I understand. But the thing here is wouldn't a topic that has hardly any real posts be suspect? Or if it happens way to fast? And I was throwing 500 +'s as just some figure what if it was like 5,000? That is a ton of buys and would be hard to go by unnoticed.
it is just that we can buy to make it happen. like instead of doing ad on trade chat, we can send chat to whoever on the trade chat saying "1m for rating + to that post". that is just one way, there are ways to go by unnoticed. ;) and by doing so, it will benefit ONLY the suggestor and to his benefit only. balance will be disturbed (worse than now). Like rich players buy rating to make oil rigs 2x the profit? (lol just throwing up stupid ideas). or make it increase interest rates to banks, or even put interest rate on vaults. or make special gyms accessible to all players who unlocked it. Yes, i found all those things are stupid, think about it if hit certain rate. yes, there will be people who like to see stupid suggestions to make it happen to their benefit. Yes, some examples i used has very good rating even without buying rating. Becuase it benefit to specific people.
This is stupid, no player vote should decide what definitely goes into the game. Not unless it's from some sort of guaranteed content poll from an admin.
