That's not true... regardless of the amount of players the dividends are still the same on an individual basis. It's just a low paying out benefit...

Stock payouts are extremely spaced out.
It can take months before you get anything there, it will average out as 20% APR.
get more benefit blocks, since torn has a lot more members than it did when torn started, the dividends have to be spaced out to accomodate more players
You have to REALLY trust someone to hold a block for you. Treat the above advice with caution!!!

You can only gain benefits from ONE BB. Yes, a trusted fellow player can hold a 2nd BB for you, if they don't already have that BB, but VERY RISKY. I have a friend who trusted his spouse to hold stock for him and they split the rewards, but then Respo came out and his spouse never logged in again. Now he has several blocks with this game friend and no way of retrieving them. This is sort of a good story, as they weren't stolen. More often than not a "trusted" game friend turns into a thief -- sadly.
So as Jobby says -- be careful!
you get one payout every 3 months, on an average. It averages out as 20% APR in the long run
btw, invest in IOU

My last dividend from grain was 63 days ago and also in the 3m range

i havent received a lottery voucher in a few months either.... they sometimes come in frequently, and I guess down time too
That's odd. I always receive item benefits at least every other week, or once a month in the worst cases.
But cash dividends? They're rare.
Best advice I might give here is: get your item-based stock benefits first, then sell the items to finance your other stock benefits.

last time I received my benefit
just over a month
Just found this now while searching the forums. I have a BB of grain and have been waiting for dividends too - nothing yet as of 15 days, but it has gone up in value by over 10 dollars per share :). I read above that if we have more than one BB we cannot receive dividends from more than one at a time - is this true??? I realize we can't just stack multiple blocks of GRN and get multiple dividends off of the same stock, but we can't get them off of different stocks at the same time either? That doesn't make a lot of sense ;x
GRN, and the other dividend stocks are among the worst to have if you are looking for money on your investment. Since you are up right now, i'd advise selling it.
It is true that you cannot gain benefits from more than one block, "of the same type". Key wording there. You can certainly gain benefits from say GRN and TCHS at the same time, i've even had payouts at the exact same time from different stocks. What you are getting confused with is that you simply cannot have 2 benefit blocks of GRN, or any other stock, only one block of each type will pay out.
You can see this on your portfolio where it will say:
"You are currently earning a bonus from this stock block"
If you have two blocks of the same stock, only one of them will say this.
@Ohadik ok thank you, that's how I thought it worked but people were confusing me on here by the way they worded things. It sounds ilke an easy scam to fall for ;x
As far as the actual BB of GRN goes, I'm not selling it anytime soon unless I need the money :D
