This may seem like a stupid question, but those who are "deceased" on the community page; are they dead for real? Or just like an in game death. And if that's true, then how do you die in game?

This may seem like a stupid question, but those who are "deceased" on the community page; are they dead for real? Or just like an in game death. And if that's true, then how do you die in game?
they are deceased for real
It's dead for real... Like for really really.. Not digital, not in torn... but for real reals...
Basically it's a dedication, so other players that knew them can show respect.
So how do they know they died in the first place?
In game friends send a request for them to be fedded and/or added to the fallen players page.
