How odd, I don't see any rules regarding this on the Torn Wiki nor anywhere in the forums. I guess people just like to take the time to be outwardly condescending towards others.

as per trading or advertising in global, just try it and see.... you will be abused and bountied by players and then bollocked by staff

OR

you could simply ask staff on that particular idea

OR

you could carry on arguing the point and lose anyway

OR

you could gracefully accept its a minor mistake you made about and move on.

On the contrary it isn't actually written into the rules anywhere anymore.

No player has ever abused nor bountied me, and I have never been informed by staff either.

The whole counter argument is essentially don't be a condescending ass to someone, but thanks for bumping the thread.

Why yes, I was. However I pointed out to her that there are no written rules defining that it is wrong and she told me it would be updated, which is great.

However you're avoiding what I'm pointing out to you, nowhere in that rules does it define what a thread falls under. I wasn't trading any goods, nor was I advertising a sale.
