I have a few questions about finding items in the city.
1. Is there a limit to how many items you can find in one day?
2. Do all items show on the 3 zoom levels, or do you have go in closer for certain items?
3. Do items (if they even show up) refresh every time you open up the city map?
Thanks in advance.
1) Not likely to be higher than 4
2) Not on the minimum zoom; anything below that should pick it up. You'll be able to see the small circles no matter what, unless you are in the overview map with no zoom applied.
3) Not that I'm aware of, once you get those items they should be set.
1. No limit on amount of items you can find. But there is a limit on the maximum amount of clicks to the "City" that can potentially spawn an item. This is estimated to be at around 1 or 2 an hour.
2. The items show up on all zoom levels, apart from the default completely zoomed out view.
3. The items stay on the map until you pick them up.
^He beat me to it.
Thanks to both of you. I have managed to actually find an enhancer, advanced driving tactics.
EDIT: Just found another item as well.
Not bad, congrats :)
As for how often items spawn, this is based on the number of times you have clicked the city. Everytime you click it there is a chance (awareness is taken into account here).
Since items stay on the map forever it's more effective to look on the map once a week or even once a month depending on how active you are.
Well, that removes my worry of worrying about the items despawning lol
Thanks
Yeah, they tend to stay a while.
There are also unconfirmed reports that if you have a larger interval between each search, you will get better items.
That is however speculation, so not sure about it. In any case, it is probably more helpful to wait and pick up lots of items in one go after a long period, rather than checking on a daily basis.
