Good lord Vulpies >.> Faction forums are unmoderated. Leaders have the tools to moderate it within faction guidelines, they can delete threads / posts, mail members with a warning, or even kick people for posting certain things.

id imagine moderation falls to the other members or the leader/co-leader/director
if they take offence to it i imagine they can report it or kick you, similar to mails, if i mail you mat calling you a bell end and sending you inappropriate messages, and you knew it was a joke its fine, but if you took offence and reported it i broke the rules only the public areas are mandatory pg-13, so messages and faction chat/company would be down to the disgression of the others
Ah but I ask simply because they've stated that these are unmoderated - unlike chat you don't need to join a group in order to view them but company/faction you must join and always have the option to leave similar i guess to the ignore feature
But I don't really know the exact answer :c

Its only an issue if somebody complains. But it works out either way. You get porn and get to find out if there are any douches around.
Mat... as far as im aware.. faction and company chat are unmodded officially so its down to the faction/company boss .... basically its a case of 'wind it in or be kicked'
I believe that if you submit a report about faction/company chat content a senior staff will look into it but apparently its a low priority.
If there are lots of perverts and spotty faced virgins in your faction who post crap like that then change your faction.
It isnt rocket science ...
I have no issue with it, I'm not 12 who finds naked pictures or words offensive, more of a clarification of rules needed.

In some cases, extreme cases.... things that aren't moderated do get moderated.
