For years war has ravaged the land you call home but it always seemed far away. That was until rained fire on the kingdom killing like a plague. In an act of desperate patriotism you join the king's army. When you come back from doing your shift on the catapult you find that your house is gone. your wife and daughter were in the house when it was crushed. The next day you volunteer to lead the charge against the nomadic invaders. But when the charge is in full swing, explosions erupt around you from rolling barrels of gunpowder. As thousands of screams of agony fill your ears only one thing races through your mind. You killed my wife, you killed my daughter I will kill you all. But with a startling realization you see that there are only 4 others charging with you and you stop in your tracks hoping that you would survive. but as you dive to the ground an explosion tears through the air, knocking you out.
When you awake you are chained to the wall of a prison. you look around and see a file lying in front of you. you snatch it up and file through you chains and window bars. when you hop out of your window you see that the city has fallen and that it has plunged into chaos.
