Currently, the only ways to start chat with someone is either by going to their profile and clicking the start chat button or by clicking the people button on the bottom of the page near the chat boxes.

As the second option is the only way to start chat with someone on mobile (that I know of), it should allow people to search for people to start chat with.

Currently this option exists only for your friends list and there are no search options available for other groups of people like faction members, employees etc.

My suggestion is to create a search option for these other groups of players and not just be limited for people on your friends list.

A good suggestion... I would like to see a ping system implemented into the chat system. To notify you when your name is typed. As long as its typed the exact way you have it in torn. Similar to how the Irc has it. Messages go unnoticed sometimes. The ping would get their attention with ease. Especially during chain times.
