Since this seems to be allowed now? I'd like to try my hand at making a userscript for the City Map. I saw it before it was a userscript where the background (all the roads and white buildings where darkened so the items where simpler to spot through the white. I think the brightness or contrast of the City Map was changed in the script.
it would be great If I could make this cause being visually impaired (cataracts at a young age) it would put less strain on my eyes.

How would you go about making a script to darken only the background of the map letting the items stand out only slightly.
Not asking for full on white or black just want to lower the brightness a tap bit.
Any ideas?
