Spaces in Usernames

Whats the problem with having spaces in your names ?
Just wondering because i personaly think it's stupid that we can't have spaces :/
I would understand if you blocked Symbols
(i.e. ⿠⺠⻠⹠⼠â â â â ⨠â â  â ⥠⧠⩠â ⡠⭠⫠⬠⬠â â â â â â â â® â â â ⺠â â â â â² â ⤠⡠⪠⩠⫠⬠⯠â â ⥠⢠⣠â â â â â â « » | [ ] { } § ¶ ¡ ¿ â½ â â» ± × ~ ÷ ¥ $ ¢ £ ß © ® @ ° · â)
As it's harder to track people. But how the hell do spaces make a difference in any situation ?
I want spaces!

I think it's a coding issue, just use underscores. " _ "

If they have a coding issue with spaces in usernames then they need new developers.

if you put 2 spaces in a name, it can make it look like 1 space. Its a nightmare to then track a player down if you only have their name.

Example, the faction Born Fighting

http://www.torn.com/factions.php?step=profile&ID=33575

The names look identical, but one had a double space.

"

That's why we have Player ID's your point is invalid.

dont use the space bar

do what i did and use an underscore

Hence why I wrote "Its a nightmare to then track a player down if you only have their name."

Also factions have IDs... everything on here has an ID thats how it all works.

Im not saying dont do it, im saying that one of the problems with spaces is that you can mimic others.
