im looking to buy a sweet shop once i hit level 10 i was wondering which star should i go for and what price should i pay i have around 100m to spend on it. i also have my brother who has all the business management courses to help me out.

Your brother would have to run it as director as he would give the company a better chance of making a profit (these courses are important!).
Are you sure you want to start a company at level 10? Seems a bit early in the game to be running a company that could lose money before you start getting some back.
If I were you, I would complete all the starter jobs (not player run) first and get the highest rank in those before even starting about running your own company.
their is no age limit to run the company. i started my company when i hit 10. and i was quit successful with running those companies. but relying on company profit will be stupidity. instead use that 100m for trading. you will be making more than company.
oh i see thanks for that, its just im a restart so i know what to expect haha xD and i see so as my brother has all the education he would be more successful in bringing the profits?
oh i see, thats exactly how i made the 100m through trading im just thinking of ways to bring in more cash. what sort of star sweet shop could i get varying that cash?
8-10* sweet shop can easily pull in 800k-1.4m daily profit. but once you exclude the cost of stocks and employees train. the actual profit will be something close to 300k-800k. so i dont see the point on investing money which is kind of locking down unless you are planing to resale it for higher value. which is now a days trend going on. merely worth sweet shop selling for more than 400m+. just because people are willing to pay for that so they can resale it for more higher value.

100mil to us old timers is quite a low amount.
nah im in a 7* now and i cant steal a can yet so i was thinking id be able to get a 6* right?
actually sweet shop are quite worthless unless the energy can special is unlocked.
so basically my bottom line will be dont rush to run a company. you will make better income via trading or working in sweet shop or any specific special you want.
making money is much easier now a days. infact from hardcore trading you can easily surpass top companies income too. but from nominal trading you can achieve better source of income.
rather than running any company and going under loss.
bcoz if i recall properly i have to sell out around 200m+ when i started new adult novelty store got it to 8* and sold it. but running low rank companies are quite pointless. unless their specials are super cool.

That has just made it 100x easier for you.
Now for a coherent spy mission for you::
- Make a note of the companies income (and star rating)
- Make a note of the prices set
- Make a note of the advertising cost set
- Check what all staff are being paid
- Make a note of which employee positions are set
- Make a note of popularity and customers
Repeat this daily for the next week or 2 (or longer if you are prepared to wait).
Now you will have a good amount of data on the company, when you start your own company just mirror image the figures and stats you have got previously and you SHOULD make a similar amount of income as the prefix company did.
Yes this is a little crafty *sneaky sneaky* BUT it is not against the rules of Torn and you are fully allowed to do this if you wish.
I certainly would do this if I ever stopped running this Oil Rig and wanted to run a different company type.
If you wanted to take it a step further you could leave your current job (after you have 2 weeks of data) and join another sweetshop of a different rank to see how they compare to the data you have received.
Then you will have 2 sets of good data to use (you could probably sell this info on to lower star sweetshop directors, but you didn't hear that from me!).
