I use IRC cloud to connect to terms IRC and recently it's been coming up with too many connections from your IP address. I've looked a little into and it seems this is because IRC cloud isn't a trusted platform or something? Is there something I can do about this or is there an IRC app that is trusted by torn?

That's unfortunate. Apart from notifying the staff, there's nothing you can do.
On a sidenode, I think adding IPv6 support would be the easiest way for Torn to handle IRC Cloud users -- each user gets a unique IPv6 address.
I mean its only going to get worse. With more people on IRC for the Halloween giveaways. Who would I message about this then?

Does anyone know a way around this haven't been able to go on IRC for a few days now.

Download another client that does not go through some proxy? LightIRC works fine, and you don't have to download that.
