No one knows what they ACTUALLY, they appear to be random as f**k half the time...

They're supposed to mean though... green for active, yellow for online but not active recently, red for offline.

For players using full version Torn with chat enabled the colours represent

red: offline
amber: online less than 15 minutes, but off more than 3
green: actively online (last action within 3 minutes)

When playing Torn in mobile version or with chat disabled, these colours do not apply and it will appear that a player is always offline.

Yes there is a way...

when using a pc on browser full screen settings, full Torn version is enabled... when the screen is reduced to below 50% of screen size mobile version enables...

Mobile phones are also able to access Torn in both full and mobile versions.

oh, er, it's not the whole chat tab that is coloured. There is a dot within the tab to the left side of a players name that can change colour depending on their activity status. [:smiley:]

lol, on mobile version you also have the coloured dots, just fyi. What browser are you using? Maybe somethings wrong causing the colours not to show.. It should just have the dots, as there's no way to disable it. -atleast I wouldn't know how-
