Because im trying too build a small platform using the API and its currently running a few Requests at a time, im currently IP Blocked from using the API, which for developers isnt good, because it means we cannot fully test without being restricted due too the temporary ban? maybe developers can apply for maybe more requests? maybe 200/300 requests?.

From api.torn.com, you'd only get blocked for making more than 100 good requests in a minute (error 5), or trying multiple incorrect keys from the same IP (error 8).

Which are you getting? Error 8 should be an almost instant ban IMO, but I guess I wouldn't mind a temporary increase to verified devs for error 5... Though 100 per minute really seems sufficient.

The rates are plenty generous imo. It's up to the developer to do proper error checking and closing the script before you hit the limits with invalid attempts. It's also the developer's responsibility to rate limit themselves if they are making that many requests in such a short amount of time.

That said, the ban does drop eventually.

Error 8 insta ban?! Imagine you was IceBlueFire who owns TornStats.com and uses your API key. Can you imagine how quickly they'd get blocked from a few people entering an incorrect key.

That's correct. Limit will not be raised for now simply because there is no need in this. 100 requests in a minute should be enough for any kind of selections (at least most common cases).
