It is probably self explanatory, but just to make sure, you are talking about total wins here right? Not some "with the same car" BS that relies totally on getting the right track for that one car...?

There are currently two awards for racing, "Driving Elite" for reaching Class A and "Redline" for winning 250 races with the same car.
Posters seems to want additional awards and to be able to win cash prizes and to enter lower class official races for easier Racing Points.

correct, i want a new category, official races won (starting from implementation) but the races can be won across multiple cars

So, a merit for total official race wins. Something reasonable like 10,000 wins?

kind of, but less ridiculous values, 10,000 official races won - i dont think that anyone has won 10k official

I started racing racing 12-31-2014, so coming up on my 1 year mark (another award?) and across all Classes and in all cars I have a little over 800 wins out of more than 3000 official races (I rarely do custom races). A lifetime achievement of 10,000 wins seems about right.

Those numbers were rounded down to eliminate any custom races. Like I said, "I rarely do custom races".
A lifetime achievement is suppose to take a life time to achieve.
Took me 3,650 days to get my 10 year pin.

New medals are always good to be added to the game.

Additional ideas:
Honor: [NameHere] - "Win a race with every single car" - self explanatory, include all 48 cars currently shown in the item market. Alternatively: "Win an official race with every single class A car" - can't possibly make this to be "every single car", because us advanced drivers would never be able to win a class A official race with a class E car.
Honor: [NameHere] - "Win 50 races in each track"
Honor: Life on the Road - "Participate in 1000 official races"
Honor: Pit Stop - "Collect 2500 racing points" - spent points count as well, basically same logic as class upgrades.

There are just two honors for racing and they can be achieved fairly easy, most players quit racing after achieving the honors. The first two honors suggested above should be easily achievable as well, just time consuming. The last two honors are to encourage more people to actually race, as you can't get those by paying someone to do 2 lap speedway races for you ;)
