Hi guys... Can you guys give me useful tips to run a company? Thanks
Do your research in to company best positions and expected income.
Base your wage budget off this setting aside any advertising you may deam suitable.
Hire as many staff as your company holds.
Research upgrades and decide which are required to maximise net profit.
Fill with more staff to comply with upgrate limitations.
Sit back and count cash.
Hmm that's very confusing but I sort of get it...
thanks for the info!!!
If it was easy everyone would do it.
True
Take, don't buy one they will eat your hard earned money.
Just join a company which gives you the best company special. Join a friend or your faction members company.
Its far easier to sit back and collect money each day with an added perk of a good company special. That way you have zero risk and you can't lose any money.
Thats just my opinion... And a good one at that.
But, if you really really want to own and run a company scroll up and take Tarelli's advice. He knows what he's is doing!
Yah thanks...for the advice!!!

If this means waiting for workers who will take lower salaries then do this. If company does better and earns better profit then be sure to reward workers and raise salaries or give them bonus's or something.
Thanks
Are all companies equal in difficulty to run? Or are there companies (TV. Oil) that can be harder to run since there aren't many of them and simply because they cost so much.
Also, are there any costs that you need to be taking out of your own pocket after your first cost of creating the company? For example, 8 bil on a TV Network, can you start earning money right after creation or do you need another sum of cash to upgrade the company before any sort of income.

Plus the fact you have to constantly change and adjust advertising makes each of them harder. Finding a good balance between wages, ads and price can be difficult and sometimes it can take months to get it right. (And then when you finally do get it right, you have to change again!).
Its a "win win lose win lose lose win lose win win lose" situation.
That saying 'Money goes to money' does in fact run true when dealing with top companies in Torn. The more money you put into it, the more you will get back but most often the case is; You will lose money before you start making it. It's the people who lose money before they get it that struggle when running a successful company on Torn. They will see they are losing money and panic, then adjust things and mess it up even more. That's why there are a lot of 1 and 0 (especially 0) star companies in most of the categories.
My rule for anyone starting a new company would be to look at the cost of setting up a brand new company, x that figure by 150-250%. Save up that amount of money, THEN START THE COMPANY*
*Also, get some staff ready to join you. See how much money other companies of the same type are paying their staff. See what positions are assigned in companies of the same type, Try and get a range of employees to place on each position. Etc....
@Jerry - Yes, you need to have enough money to cover the advertising budget, pay staff wages and make any shipments for products (if required of that company type). And to answer the question about making money straight away, YES you can make money straight away. Make sure you have employee positions filled, have a price set on items, have an advertising budget set if required (I'd say advertising is essential!).
Hope this helps,

Very helpful
wow 21 days old in game and owning tv company. gratz through achieving it so early. It takes ages to have that amount of cash
He will have been given it by someone else. No fresh 21 day player can afford a tv.
who will trust a 21 day player tht too in game were scamming is legal. Also i dont think he must have done all the education course to pull in more profit.
i assume he is super rich in real or very good in gambling. but just assumption.
Unless of course, they purchase donator packs and sell them out for 23mil each.
Or as mentioned, have rich friends who have given him money.
Check his networth graph, it's quite significant.
$1740, just for a tv network. If so then the guys crazy.
