I used 110 work points, but fulfillment didn't go up. I also took a xanax. Any idea what happened ?

Any effect given that increases your Happiness above the maximum is reset back down to the maximum at the regeneration point, it means at every quarter hour mark i.e. XX:00/15/30/45.
In this case 4:15 by the timing of your Xanax, I assume that was taken while you were trying to increase happy.
