Although the correct amount of players being assigned, the system keeps telling:

You did not select the correct amount of available members to make up the team!

STATUS UPDATED: FIXED

SourRon [852964]

For me OC team selection is now showing inactive members of my faction. Attempting to include inactive members in an OC produces the error message.

Previously, inactive faction members were not available for selection so I hope this change is a bug and not something intentional.

I'm having this issue too. The system warns me of incorrect number when selecting, and apparently inactive members is shown in the list.

That forum link is from 13 days ago although this change has only become live today for me.

Active players in hospital are showing in the same red coloured status as inactive players. Active players in hospital should be selectable but inactive players should not so that's not helping identify who should and should not be selectable.

I don't get the point of having inactive players listed among those to be used for OC teams.

Changes are usually only pushed live on Tuesdays once they have been checked and approved which explains why it is only liv for you today.

Maybe selectable players could be in green with non-selectable players in red, at the bottom of the list? This would be much clearer for everyone I think!

This feature helps identify players which are constantly inactivate in your faction and possibly even remove them if that's your policy so I think it's quite useful to have the information there.

Live changes on Tuesday makes sense.

A helpful feature to identify inactive players in a faction should be separate from OC selection such as in the INFO area.

Listing inactive players among those to be selected for OCs, when they cannot be used, is a change made for the worse.
Marc [24377]

Members in jail or hospital can be selected (they also show in red) as they only affect initiating the OC once the preparation time has been complete. Having these status mixed in with Fed/Inactive is quite confusing sometimes
MadHatter [486416]

If an inactive player is in the hospital, they're listed as "hospital" rather than "inactive" - not a huge issue, but it is a tad bit frustrating
SourRon [852964]

I have to say no to this. In consideration of the functionality of the CRIMES section the extra displayed information has no usefulness. Displaying who cannot be used along with who can be used is worse than displaying only those who can be used.

Identifying inactive people would be done better in the INFO section changing the displayed text under the status column.
MadHatter [486416]

Agreed completely. It complicates the process and increases the time needed to plan OCs (especially when you have to go check all of the hospitalized members to see which ones are actually inactive)

Im having this same problem. Its showing alot of inactives in the list also and anytime i try to plan it gives me the warning u did not select the right amount of available members to make up the team even tho i did. I think its because inactives are mixed in and i cant tell the difference between them and active ones at all. Unless i would go to each individual profile and thats just crazy.

I also dont understand those changes if its intentional...why do we need inactives to show up in the list here? I thot it was perfect to only have the usable members show up. It also only shows in red for me when they are in hosey or jail.
-Jackson [1601454]

Its not showing red for me unless in hosp or jail and even if the inactives would show red, if they was in jail or hosp it would take precedence and seem like they are usable when really they are not.
Im not sure why we need inactives in the oc list now but if so can we not have the actual name of the inactive player be red instead of just the status of them b red?
bekoe [439563]

I don't find this distinguishes ineligible members very well. It looks very similar to the hospital or jail statuses, which take precedence. So a member in the list who's inactive, but also in jail, shows as in jail. This again makes it impossible to distinguish who's actually eligible for the oc without clicking their profile!

Would it not be clearer to have the grid row for inactive members highlighted red? Similar to the new missions where you fly abroad and have to hospitals a target, the target has a red grid background highlight, that flashes, in the people list. I'm not asking for flashing, but a red background grid row highlight would make it much clearer in my opinion!

Exactly..i agree 100%

Also, i just went back to oc's to check something and i noticed that in the part where yu actually pick the team and plan the oc...nothing shows in red or green, no status of jail, hosp or anything. So basically instead of having only the players listed that is available to make up a team, it shows everyone from the faction that is not already in an oc. Very very frustrating to say the least.
The reds everyone is talking about is only when u go to initiate the oc when the time is up and everyone must be in the green, okay, in order to initiate. This part is working fine for me. Its just the planning part and the fact its all of a sudden listing everyone that is the main problem for me.
Marc [24377]

This sounds more like a cache issue for you, Jackson28. The reds for current status are definitely appearing.

But yes, they need to be distinguished easier or inactives needs to be removed from this view - I think we're all agreed on that and now it's up to the devs to change.
