Hey i just logged in after a long time away from torn and have 105 refills how come, do they get given out weekly or something?
They are given out to inactive players so they can catch up on the missed time.
Think of it as a way to entice you back.
Same way a business will offer you a discount if you buy something from them after you haven't visited them for a few years.
Ah thats pretty coool might just work to
So that's why I had so many when I came back...... cool!!!!!
How is the number of refills you get calculated??
Ask the OP how many weeks he was gone, if he remembers, then divide that by the 105 refills he got.
That should at least give a rough estimate how they calculate that.
i dont think its linear as such, i mean, you have to be gone a certain amount of time for the refills to appear
from there its probably linear upto a point, where i would assume the player is unlikely to ever return, and the refills would stop
lol funny thing, when I came back from 9(!!!) years of inactivity, I didn't have a single refil. Lol, so indeed I don't think it's linear either. There must be certain exceptions in place.
Hence the "rough estimate".
Either way, if it went as high as 105 energy refills, no reason to think it wouldn't go at least as high as 200, if not more.
The system didn't exist back then, and if you were gone for too long it would have assumed you were gone forever and you wouldn't be targeted as a possible return by the system because you would not meet enough of the variables needed to make the investment worth it.
hence me saying that their must be certain exceptions in place.. :p
Systems do not usually go after accounts that have gone inactive before they were created, not after a certain time.
I would have thought that to be self-evident.
