I was wondering about people´s advice in regard to joining a faction.
If it´s best to join one after a certain level or stat amount.

depends on the faction itself to be honest.
a warring faction could result in a lot of hosp visits and mght want to make quit early.
If you find the right faction, you might have a good time as well.
why not try and see how it goes?
The choice is yours to take to be fair ;)
DO NOT JOIN FOR A WHILE
there are plenty of tales of young players joining factions and getting butthurt about spending their lives at hospital
if they give you free shit then think about it, but be CAREFUL
He could join one if a strong faction that doesn't chain atm and supplies meds is willing to accept him.. [:tongue:]

I would suggest wait until level 15 and keep your ears and eyes open.
edit : that is not to say soon as you hit level 15 join a faction, I mean wait until level 15 before considering it again.

Like Louis say's...wait until level 15..then if your faction starts getting hit you can fly off.
