Chrome Update/Torn

I have IPhone. On Chrome browser.

I have recently updated my browser to the new Chrome browser update. And ever since I have torn has been screwing up.

All the buttons are doing weird symbols. The forums are not loading most of the time. The loading bars keep loading(even more than usual)

Im sure it's just that torn needs to be optimized with the new Chrome update. Can y'all look into it to see if it can be fixed please.

hi - this is me also. affects achieving crimes in both chrome and safari on iphone and ipad. Used to just be safari. Very annoying, have to exit and reload crime windows multiple time to get a crime to display a result.

If hes talking about what I think it is, I get it sometimes too on safari with an iPhone 5s. Its like all the graphics are jumbled up and everything takes longer to do.

I chalked it up to a weird caching thing but atm I cant reproduce it, next time I come across I will post a screen as well.

This is what I'm talking about. But I downloaded another update for chrome and the main issue went away(no more random symbols is random spots)

but I am still having an issue where occasionally when I am loading a page it loads a text version of the page and everything starts loading slow.

Can go to imgur.com and upload it there. (Top right). You don't need their app to do it.

But, it's probably the same issue that would show up when as a site is missing the css file. Another weird caching thing.

Ever since another Chrome update that above and a forums issue.

When I am surfing the forums. I will click on a forum category. Then click on a forum thread. Then the game will lag a second then automatically take me back to the first forum category page.

I can eventually get where I want to go but it's after a couple attempts at getting to the forum thread

I also have the forum issue Nabisco described with Chrome on my iPad. I don't think it's related to the browser version: been experiencing it for a year or so. My workaround is to open forum links in a new tab.

Another problem is the loading bubbles in crimes and items pages. Workaround: waiting 2 or 3 seconds before each click almost always works.

PS: I browse Torn in "full view" (not sure if this is the correct name) mode.

Could you please tell as what kind of iPhone/iPad did you use and iOS version?

P.S. iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. From the the Home Screen, tap Settings > General > About. The iOS version of your device should appear on this screen.

im getting same issues ios 9.2 chrome latest

loading bubbles that never stop loading

if i click on the link to try again too soon i just get loading bubbles ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .... .... .... ..... ...... ...... ...... ....... ........ ....... ...... ...... ...... ........ ...... ....... ..... ...... ...... ...... ....... ...... ...... ....... .......

and then i have to hit home then crimes again to get to do a crime

same with any page that can get the loading bubbles can be hit and miss as to whether i get loading bubbles or the page load.

frustrating

mind you i found a workaround that works around 60% of the time

i click the window and highlight the crime i've just done and then hit the window again then i hit try again and around 60% of the time it will do another crime. sometimes i forget or click a half second early and regret it

i also get the lack of css loading but i assume that was being addressed. clearly i'm glad i came in to check.

i noticed tonight that when im at home on my home wifi its worse than when im out on my cellular data.

im in australia on the vodaphone mobile network. and at home im with telstra so home should be better.

iPad mini, iOS 9.2.1, Chrome 48.0.2564.104.

The random symbols on random parts of the page happen to me again while flying:

Look at the top of the screen. This time it wasn't as bad at it had been before but since it happen just thought I would show you

Mike. I find that this workaround works well to stop the floating bubbles. Don't know if that will help

switch to firefox, it happens less, also happens on consumables like alcohol, blood bags and drugs...only on mobile (i use a iphone5s or c), crimes are usually fine on firefox and you get 3-5 consumables before bubbles screw you

Happens on IOS 9.2 also going to try the next iOS patch to see if it's better, there's always hope so
etimes deluded sometimes desperate but always hope, he said as iOS 9.3 is about to kill his battery ð
