the airstrikes are not working for isis.. whats your views on ISIS and what we should do as a whole to defeat ISIS and find the leader and get all the intel we need..
my view on this is screw the f**king airsrikes we need ground troops and special forces. we need to find ISIS cities in the middle east deploy around it and ambush it get snipers as wells to lay cover fire and make sure our troops will be at best hands. this is risky, yes but isnt every war risky? once we ambush we infiltrate every building flash and deploy inside bagging and tagging ISIS troops and getting rid of the rest. we also will find intel, and with the bagged and tagged ISIS troops we can get even more intel on their leader and we will be closer and closer to the ISIS leader and capturing him and punishing him for his terror around the world. all im saying is the airstrikes destroyed alot of intel on the cities we bombed we could of prevented ISIS from ding the paris attack if we got intel on it previous to it.
My view is that we don't need any additional ISIS threads... there are plenty already, and just about anybody who has anything to say about it has said everything that can be said before it turns into a western world vs Islam bitch fest.

I think it needed to be stopped by the will of the people earlier on. I think the policy and procedure should have been established a lot sooner on what the western nations could have done with the refugees (like UKIP leader was trying to get done while campaigning - the other parties and media found it too inconvenient to address at the time).
My view was and is pretty much the same as before train the males to a standard (takes time and enforced conscription) put them in various roles ie those at 14 should not be given combat roles and act as auxileries / given more advanced training so when they come 17 / 18 they will have specialist skills as well as superior discipline.
The real question to this however is who trains them ?
I know a Joe Bloggs with military training and NCO rank could train a number of them, but that is not very helpful because where does the funding come from?
Where would they be trained?
What is the chain of command above that NCO?
What is the infrastructure?
I know the answers but its rhetorical / set to get other brains thinking.
How would I personally combat ISIS ?
Don't know how to answer that, I cannot give a full answer because the nature of the warfare employed would be controversial and it would not involve nukes or chemical weapons. - also dont want to give any impressionable people ideas on what is considered acceptable in warfare nor any information regarding the acts itself. - but some of it would be using the line of thought of the Long Range Recon Patrol of Vietnam (later became part of the Rangers of US Airborne). There might still be a youtube documentary on them if you look about for it.
I don't want to criticize the Original Poster from what I understood on his opening post it seems there is a confusion on the structure of ISIS.
However their plan of attack is very costly as well as being very thorough.
High chance of civilian/collateral damage.
High chance of being charged for war crimes for the professional soldier.
High chance of the actual act of killing members of ISIS.
High chance of creating more anti western feeling which in turn adds to the potential attacks on home soils from both middle eastern hostiles and home grown hostiles.
Great chance of upsetting the powers that be who favor ISIS during their morning cornflakes.
PKK aint attacking the west and its only listed to make Turkey happy you know Turkey the country buying Isis oil.
Not only that, Turkish government are big time murderers. If you guys do some research and see whats happening in "Cizre" you will see why the PKK was formed. These turkish soldiers are pure savages. I wont't even talk about their police, on a different level of savagery. Whose protecting these innocent people? No one.

The PKK have carried out suicide attacks against Turkey. They are responsible for massacres against villages in their campaign for independence in the 1980s.
Thy have taken numerous innocent lives. And somehow you register them as non terrorists.
