My two favourites are probably Chopin and Bach.

Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov
Fantasia para un gentilhombre and Concierto de aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo (these two aren't really classical in period but the style is)

loose pieces .. i'd say Albinoni's Addagio in G minor and Pachelbel's Canon in D major are essential listening

Bach, Bach, Bach, Bach... it's all about that Bach bout that Bach. Let the Bach drop.

But ya also love Mahler, Vivaldi, Brahms, Prokofiev, Strauss, Wagner or Bizet(if you want to give some epic Opera a shot), Eric Satie, Gershwin.

Yo Yo Ma is a great Cellist- check out his Bach. They're sublime.
