Forgiven award

I read somewhere that you get the award when the priest says "I forgive you for your sins."

But I just received that response from the priest and didn't get the award...

I guess my question now is whether this award is just random chance while donation?

Keep praying... every day... literally!

Forgiven Award is not about donation to church, it's about praying daily without missing a day, around 7days or more of praying, making sure that no two prayers separated for more than 24 hrs, so the common suggestion is to pray twice daily with at least 8hrs gap.

I prayed 1-2 times a day in 6 hour intervals for 14 solid days and got it.

I'm pretty sure you can get it in 10 days if you manage to pray 2 times daily.

It's one of those merits that are easy to forget about unless you're reminding yourself about it constantly.

Just make yourself a little sticky note on your computer or somewhere you check often, after the first day or two it will become a regular habit.

The merit itself is one of the easiest, it took me ~ 6 days of praying 2 to 3 times a day to get it.

Dude are you daft???? all you have to do is pray at he church once per day for xx amount of days (for me it was 10 days) how in the hell is that not an easy merit?

I prayed once a day for 20 straight days before earning the "Forgiven" merit.

The way I determined a day was going by every day I noticed I aged on Torn. It ended up being one prayer a day from age 10-30 for me.

Others have said they've gotten it in anywhere from 7-15 days. My 20 days is the longest I've noticed anyone on the forums state it has taken them.

10 Days to get merits, this is my note once i finished pray everyday, i update it.

I don't pray every 10:10, i just start at 10am on 1/11 (11 jan).

twice a day in 10 days and get the merits.

pray when you first log on.... pray before you end your day....you will get it 6-10 days like this

I prayed once every 12 hours(Oncea day is enough but i prayed twice a day just in case as we all have a real life and we may miss one time)

I'm pretty sure that praying once a day will do the job. But if you miss a day for any reason, everything resets and it's like you never started.

So many people pray twice a day (once early in the day, once late in the day) to make sure they never have a 24 hour period where they haven't prayed. I did it once in the morning when I woke up, and once in the evening, and I think it took me about 2 weeks. (Not sure on the time it took, it's been awhile.)

I think (and this is a guess, not verified knowledge) that once you've done it daily for 7 days, then every day when you pray, there is a % chance that you'll get the merit. That would explain why some people get in in 7 days, and some take longer.
