Thanks to the new missions system and the lovely portrait of Anonymous given to us I have concluded Anonymous is just George in a bigger hat.

Anonymous was long since believed to have died when the old missions ceased to be available, no one was assigning missions anymore so people naturally assumed this fact... George in memory of his brother wears a replica of this hat

Now that anonymous has returned... who knows what George will do...
