One last thought: If you're looking to rent a property, you most likely aren't married. So just get married.

In all honesty if you'd only kept that part of it being 'awkward to marry a dude' out of your post you might have escaped the lashing. Also, it's a general discussion forum. They found your approach homophobic and they 'discussed' the crap out of it..'generally'.

As for your original point, the concept of a room-mate sharing a property with you without having to marry is really redundant on Torn because marriage takes care of it without any hassles. If this was implemented, this'd be a needless redundancy. Suppose you're Person A and you want to share a PI with Person B. But you two don't want to get married. You both rent a PI from the market and start living in it. Down the road, Person B decides he wants to get married to someone. But even if he does, from a game-play point of view it'd be futile, because he is already enjoying the main perk of marrying someone, i.e, sharing a property. I'm sure you'd agree at this stage no one would be allowed to share TWO properties. It'd be pointless anyway.

So basically what it boils down to is, Person A is single, and sharing a property with Person B, who is married to Person C for no obvious benefit other than a label of being married (oh and perhaps commitment merits). So what's the point in doing this? Person A can easily marry Person B, share a PI and be done with it all?

I hope this makes it clear. If you still feel the need to state your point however, I'd suggest the 'Suggestions' forum.

Bro, i didn't see your original post before you edited it so I just have to guess what you said based on all the other posts. One in particular on your part did seem to be somewhat of a Freudian slip in nature ('beating the shit'). Anyway that's not my point.
