So, having been out of the PC game market for freckin years, I've finally got myself a lappy that will run a few!! I can run Bioshock & Bioshock 2 on middle ish setting, also Fallout 3 runs pretty well...I'm looking for something along the lines of Bioshock..somethings that's not quite so 'Free roam' as Fallout....and kinda 'moody'
Any recommendations?
Try Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Farcry 4, Dying Light, and Dead Island.
Far Cry 4 sucks try far cry 3
Betrayal at Krondor, it has a lot of open roaming but still forces you along the storyline with TONS of story rich side quests etc. Also it should run on the rig you got with low-mid settings.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare looked moody enough and linear. I didn't like it because of no first person view so only played it for a few minutes.
Will give them a go, thanks guys
Leisure Suit Larry
lol! Can you actually still get that? Used to have it 20 years ago
GOG has it on sale all the time.
You should definitely have to play the Mass Effect series. The whole trilogy, you will not regret it.
Give Portal a go if you haven't played it
Play the first one first.
Yeah, the Portal games. Get the first one to get the story, but the second one is like 10x better.
No Witcher series on the recommendations!
also check out Dark Souls trilogy.
Will second Skyrim & Borderlands and Oblivion if you haven't played.
GTA 4 is kinda moody but its definitely open world...
Bioshock is very unique, I love the series but I can't name any other games similar. Give Portal a try.
