I completely agree with you. It would definitely make the system more realistic, since most companies in rl are started by 2+ partners.

Having two sets of eyes on stock orders, company bank, trains, applications, etc would be very nice :)

the only drawback I can think of would be if one goes corrupt and pulls out all the money or simply sells the company. But that could be handled like the trade system, to require both's approval.

Thats the way bushiness works. But anyways. My main concern is that it would have to be a position in a company, but then that person is wasted because they cannot add to productivity. That is because you the director regardless of your stats add no productivity to the business. If you are starting up you need to be active and always trying to hire people.

I would rather see an update on the mechanisms everyone has to use to Hire people. Like adding a section in the newspaper where players can pay to have their working stats shown. Kinda like the way the personals page is in the newspaper. Then we can sort through them.

R+ i always wanted this to happen when i started playing torn (day 30 or less)
but, apparently it is more complicated than you think and if its implemented just like the faction co-leaders going corrupt or not buying stuff, in general it might be not possible to do that now.
maybe in the next website update(like respo) Ched might add this

maybe some permissions set by the main director, as in, it could be set that the co-director cannot train any player, change any wages, fire anyone, or whatever.

Also, there could be a set confirmation permissions, as in to hire new employees a confirmation message sort of this would be nice:

" This is a co-leader confirmation letter from your co-leader of your company.

XXXX is asking permission to hire XXXXX with the stats XX,YY,ZZ
