I was searching through the bounty section in our local newspaper, and then it hit me, shuffling through all those pages just to find the one target that is in good enough health, to merit a payday after he has a turn of bad luck.

I was thinking perhaps it could be possible to implement a system to sort the bountied players by status, level, and of course the regular bounty amount.

Remember, you're looking in a "newspaper" - something that's not searchable without scanning with your beady little eyes.

Yep what McNeo said is true.

Every time we open a newspaper in real life , we do search a bit to find something that interests us.

That kinda logical real life element should be there when the concept of a newspaper is incorporated in a game too , so that its intersting.

Adding stuff like this would make it less work and the game a bit more "automated" which would be boring.

it would make sense if you make it available on the laptop, because you have to buy a laptop and that IS digital, where you can search
McNeo [864688]

In that case, CTRL+F should be the limit of your search options ;)

I swear... so much of this game is becoming automated that we all might as well stop playing and we can just sit back and watch AI's go at it.

There could be two separate "newspapers", one that is the normal paper that is unchanged from how it is now and another one on the computer that has a search and/or sort function (the logic behind only Ctrl + F is flawed, since it could be a website. And a search and/or sort function could be implemented on a website. look at walmart.com for example, you dont have pages of their items listed alphabetically, but a search bar to search. They could be shown in pages on a website and also have a search/sort function). Of course, that would make the normal newspaper obsolete. You could make it to where you can only access the site with the computer, but that would just make it inconvenient making the new one pointless. sorry about how wordy this is. Not yet rated.
