Is it possible to influence/inflate a stock. For example, in real life a stock can be inflated based on rumors like lets say apple is releasing a phone that turns into a laptop and people start spreading the rumors and share prices rise/fall based on the rumors.
So i ask you is it possible to influence a stock like ILL because according to them :
  • A large number of our products are sold in the TC Super Store. The amount of personal computers purchased from here usually reflects back on our share prices.
  • The performance of this stock relies upon amount of computers purchased.
So if i and a bunch of other people go buy everything (keep in mind that max items you can buy is 100 which i just found out) in the store , and the sell it BACK! to the store, yes you will be loosing a bit of cash but stock prices will they rise or fall?

Thoughts boys and girls.

Nope, I believe we can safely say stocks are completely unrelated to items or any other variables but ched himself.

So, why would they then write that ? Don't you think that is incredibly misleading and misinforming.

And on that note, if ched knows do the committee members know too about stocks since they're on the "inside" too?

nah, that part about ched was just me taking the piss ;) and well there has to be some form of immersion I guess, I don't really heed attention to what the stocks say in their discriptions. xD

what about in the bank and casino stocks that say they change based on bank investments and losses in casino
Harley [258120] Wiki Contributor

they aren't, this can easily be proven for the bank one. The stock seems to be going up and down regularly, whilst the amount of interest you get from the bank is ever dropping (clear indicator that there's more investments, because the amount of interest is directly linked with # of investments / how high the average investment is).

Atleast that's my chain of thought.

Let's see if they close stocks for a month how fast do you think we would goback to "once points could be traded do just 100$ dollars on the the points market". Stocks is 70-90% of all money here. Everything else is just end to meet, that money for one Xanax one refill, pi rental . Those who take 1k-4K se are stock players.
