How about laying a life sentence on anyone found to have facilitated the access to guns through its sale. It's not like guns grow on trees and taking out a classified in the paper to sell a firearm that can potentially be used to kill someone seems like a pretty rotten way of establishing a measure of control over a lethal device.

The gun laws have NOTHING to do with these deaths and to even insinuate it shows immaturity and a complete lack of knowledge of the world of terrorism. Do you not think Muslim terrorists can source their own weapons?

I am not a big fan of US gun laws but it is not my country so it has nothing to do with me - nor has it anything to do with these killings.

we definitely need to take a hard look at how we sell, document, and allow permits for guns. yet until our police can actually get the illegal guns off of the streets I don't trust them to keep me safe from a criminal with an illegal gun.

In 1996 they banned semi auto rifles , semi auto shotguns and pump action shotguns , the government paid people to hand them in , then they went out and bought bolt action and lever action rifles to replace them instead we actually have more guns here then before the ban.

This was after the Port Arthur Massacre the thing was one of the guns he had was supposed to have been destroyed by police in another state.

It's a tragedy. So many people killed. There are such tragedies without guns though... Perhaps gun control would help to a certain extent but there is no fix all.

C'mon, you dont need to be a trained terrorist to shoot over 100+ people. It seems all you really need is an assault type rifle that fires a maximum amount of rounds in a minimal amount of time. I wake up to this shit on my local news station, I live close to Orlando : Guns didn't kill all these people, it was an insane man who claimed to be from ISIS. Banning an inanimate object isn't going to stop people like this from killing. Dude was a 2nd generation Pakistani who was born and raised in America. First wife sais he was mentally ill. And numerous others said he was am angry individual to begin with.
