Torn Jargon?

Hi, I'm very new to Torn and am struggling a little with the jargon used, particularly on the forums. Does anyone have a link to a thread that explains the jargon or is able to provide me with a basic list of translations? It would be very much appreciated! :)

Which words were confusing you in general?

Someone made a thread with all these explained a few years ago. Might be hiding around somewhere.

I can't find a guide, but as said above if you list a couple of words that you've seen then people can tell you what they mean. After a bit of time playing the game though you should be able to adjust I'll try to name some stuff off the top of my head:

Slut- means to sell losses/runaway to someone for money
Whore-often used when someone has mostly one stat as in "defense whore" "strength whore"
TC- stands for torn city
NB- Nerve bar
NNB- Natural Nerve bar
Runner- someone that travels and buys stuff to sell and make money
Stat Cap- When a stat hits 50 mil
Stack- to take xanax/cans/lsd so you're energy is over filled; usually done with xanax though

Items:
Cans- energy drinks
e dvd - erotic dvd
FHC- Feathery Hotel Coupon
SE- Stat Enhancer
DP- Donator pack
PI- Private Island
FAK - First Aid Kit
sFAK- small first aid kit
Xan- xanax
xtc - ecstasy
Morph- Morphine

And there's more but that's just basic stuff....

Whatever you do, don't ask this question in Global chat ;) Though you could certainly get some real-time help in New Player chat.

Specific to the forums and can sometimes be confusing: OP = Original Post or Original Poster ... as in you are the OP in this thread.

Yeah some people in global are straight up hostile to new players. Not all of them though.

SSL-Sports Science Lab Gym (drug free or limited drugs only)
Karma Tank- someone who deliberately lowers your score to be a jerk in game.
Level holder-just that they do not upgrade because they want to remain low at the time being for various reasons, usually much higher in stats than the average level to fool people to lose to them.
Multi-cheater that has no skill in the game that feels they need to cheat by making more than one account to get a head or mess with people when they don't have the kahunas to do it on the main account. BANNABLE don't do it.
Multi-hunter staffs top secret tool to catch the Multis accounts.
Ched-the owner of the game. FYI don't piss him off and or tell him his newest "idea" is lame, he tends to ban people, I found out the hard way when I said the new bazaars were lame and a money pit to line his pockets.

The only other ones I can think of at the moment that I wasn't sure of was "multies" and "OC"?

Multies is a person who has multiple accounts (against the rules) wooo I knew one!

Pat explained "multies" or "multis" above. Pretty much people that have more than one account which is against game rules. OC stands for "Organized Crime" which is done when you're in a faction. A couple of people are selected to do a particular crime based on their nerve bar to gain respect/money.
