I used to make a lot of graphics back in the day. I use GIMP 2.8. I just started trying again about 3 days ago. I have been buying a lot of graphics for my profile, and thought, he I wanna give it a shot.

What do you guys think?

to be honest man they lack quality and alot of aspects u could start from here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOP0p1TgIyebv_8679XaLUg it's hades youtube tutorials really helpful and gets u going the basic aspects of any sig is(Flow, lighting ,depth and colouring) they all should match

There are also Ms(great professional graphic designer) tutorials but cant seem to find them :(

Hint: i use gimp 2.6 is it really time to upgrade :o

A couple things to get started is to collect resources.

Deviantart = a good place to start for collecting..textures/c4ds packs/render packs/stock images ect ect
Dafont = for loads of different letter styles
On deviantart you can also find many great gimp tutorials that will teach you anything from the basics to more advanced.

Doing alot of tutorials when you start is essential to grow. This is actually where alot of taggers fail. They find it boring or don't wanna put the time in. But i can assure you, you won't learn more from getting CnC on a tag. Doing tuts is the way to go if you wanna learn.
