right just a quick question. gearbox upgrades and tyre upgrades. is it worth getting all the top upgrades for a car for example short and long ration gear boxes. both rally and tarmac. also with tyres is it best to get all the options. dirt and tarmac. can you swap them around to suit the track or car your using. all the different choices have left my head spinning a bit. felt a right exorcist moment happening. aaaarrrggghh.

try aiming for 1 'specialized' car per race track.
Swapping parts of the same car for different races over and over becomes a hassle quickly. With a specialized car all you need to do is chose the right car for the track.
At least that's my idea ;)
downside being that you dont know the track til you enter a race and your car could be completely wrong for the given track. really grinds my gears
set up a couple different cars, specializing in dirt/tarmac and acceleration/top speed, and maybe splitting the difference on a car for the tracks that are a combination of both. basically, you'd be in the best shape if you had a car specially upgraded to excel at one specific track. dirt for dirt tracks, tarmac for tarmac tracks, high acceleration for short tracks with a lot of turns, top speed for long tracks with straight aways.
You simply swap cars? That option exists. I chose my oldest car to join in and change car accordingly... That works just fine?
cheers guys. i have just finished all upgrades needed for my porche 911 gt3 just a few safety items left to get. it's prob my short ratio tarmac car. any sujestions if a certain car is best for long ratio high speed tarmac and an off road rally car? would love to get some sujestions. cheers for all the help.
Look at the leaderboard for each track and see what the top placers use, then build form there.

You don't need to leave the race to swap cars. Once your race track is selected, you can go to change car and change your car as many times as you like, without ever having to leave the race.
Well I feel stupid now. Learn something new everyday!
