for a more compiled list you can also check out the wiki http://www.torn.com/wiki/Stock_Market#Stock_Benefits however currently it's wrong about WSSB stock as it no longer has a stock benefit (until ched can replace it, soon TM)

That differs per stock. You can check it by going to the stock market, and going to the "about"-tab of the stock.

also if you cannot afford the BB (bonus block) you can scale up by purchasing small amounts of the stock at intervals and click the stack button on the stock in your protfolio
