Someone said you can get an old name removed by asking staff. Is this true if so which would i ask?

yes it's true if they've been inactive for 90 days, just contact a moderator (blue name)
You can ask for a name to be released if the person with the name has been inactive for 90+ days. You can ask any one of the moderators to do this, here's a link for the staff :) www.torn.com/staff.php
