can someone make a money in the vault page like the faction donations page where your id name and how much you have in there but make it for your vault so you can see how much money is yours and your mates. i know there is the bit at the bottom off the page but you can change it but taking out 10million and keep adding 20k or 40k or any money you want but i want to see how much he had in there so if he has $1,000,000 and takes out $2,000,000 it will come up on the page as -£1,000,000. if any one can help me or make one up. thanks

The faction bank does it because it used to keep track of that stuff for you. It was designed that way. Ched removed that page because he didn't want people to be using the faction as their personal banks anymore …

There's no way to do this with the API - this could probably be done with a userscript, though. But there's no history that it'd have access to other than what's already displayed anyway, so any older transactions wouldn't be taken into account so the numbers wouldn't be accurate anyway.
Im not 100% sure about this so correct me if I am wrong.
Couldn't it be possible for the script to grab the information once a transaction has been made, then save it to the page. Not needing to keep pulling information from the history. But save the information once. I guess basically like copy and paste, but the pasted information will stay. Maybe make it keep up to 20 transactions or more? Could also maybe be sent to a saved document or something?
Just an idea?
That would only work properly, if both 'roommates' use that script on all devices they have. Otherwise there would be plenty of gaps in tracking the transaction history.

The script would have to run basically constantly, as your spouse could make infinite deposits and withdrawals in a short time. Only one person would need to run the script, but it would have to constantly check to monitor for activity.
Building it's own history would be the only way this would work, as not further history is provided by the game - so any balance that already exists would be a question mark - and every time the user's Torn account is logged out the script would no longer have access to scrape the page, making this whole idea horribly unreliable.
Again, the API cannot do this, and this does not belong in the API forum.

The faction bank does it because it used to keep track of that stuff for you. It was designed that way. Ched removed that page because he didn't want people to be using the faction as their personal banks anymore (It's also a very unreliable tally because you might be moving money around for other people.) There was a massive outcry when the page suddenly vanished, so Ched brought back a temporary page for people to sort their balances. The page was just that, temporary (however, he must have forgotten to remove it as it's still there).
All that said, the personal vault on a property was never meant to function in the same sense. Because of this, nothing similar exists to the page that people use for the faction vault. The only thing you have is your vault page with the current amounts in it. The logs also were never designed to go beyond the 10 that are listed there. The property vault and the faction bank are NOTHING a like. So suggesting that it'd be that easy to do, is completely false.
Regarding the API, we can't just make this stuff up. Ched has to create the API calls for us to be able to use them. Because of that, you'll need to make a suggestion to have the vault logs added to the API, if he deems it worthwhile. If not, then you're simply shit out of luck and will have to figure something else out.
As others have said, you can make a userscript to record that stuff for you, but that's essentially cutting out the tedious process of copy/pasting it yourself.
The bottom line of all of this: The property vault is not a secure place for you to share funds with your spouse if you don't trust them. There are plenty of ways for them to deceive you and take money if you're not paying attention. The easiest way to fix this is to simple block your spouse from using the vault and use it as your own bank. If they want a vault, they'll just have to get their own property.
I hope this makes some sense to you. What you are wanting or requesting, is not that simple, and definitely not a foolproof way to record your funds vs their funds in the property vault.
That's like asking your car mechanic to make your car fly. The API doesn't offer it, we can't make it do something it doesn't offer.

Yeah, not possible via the api. That a simple mysqli insert, select, echo though. But that's up to ched.
