when do we crash and what happens if we do?
This should be in the Q&A subforum I believe.
To answer the question, crashing sends you to hospital for a few hours and you lose some of your car's parts meaning you have to rebuy the upgrades lost with driving points.
Driving points and upgrade costs are not refunded upon a crash.
It's just random. There isn't any way to avoid it, but it doesn't happen a lot. It'll send you to the hospital, and get an event similar to this :
You have crashed your Lexus LFA on the Docks race! Your car has been recovered, but 1 upgrade was unfortunately lost.
It won't tell you which upgrades were lost, so it can be helpful to have a list of your own on what upgrades you've done. That makes it easier to look through and find what is missing. You can lose 0 upgrades, 1, 2, or 3.
Every time I have crashed I get about 10hrs hospital time....
But I have meet some wonderful players that go through the hospital list to find the racers that are mangled up in pieces and revive them...
worse is the sometimes up to 14 points lost... so better get a job at a car mechanic or you will never win another race later on
