Sounds like a porn game
Depends how much you like dwarf fortress, I couldn't stop playing it for about 2 months, and often the failures are more fun then the wins.
If you don't like having to figure stuff out yourself or losing your best guy just because the RNG gods say so you will find it frustrating.
But if that sounds like the reasons you play games then you will be hooked.
Also it's worth reading the background manuals, they add a lot of flavour and explain things that you scratch your head over.

My advice is to just dive in and figure it out yourself, makes the success that much more satisfying.

my main issue was wheter game is free of bugs and so on because its not officialy issued yet if i am right
