The time has come...

For Hydro and myself to move along. After 10 years I will be leaving at the end of March 2017 and Hydro will leave with me.

I can't really imagine life without Torn work but I definitely look forward to the first holiday/vacation without calling ahead before booking to ensure the wifi is suitable and carrying my laptop and anything else I might need to work while away!

I have had some amazing times here on Torn and worked quite hard to make fair game play for everyone.

Some of my very notable memories:

• The database crash
• The stock market hiccup
• The news year hack which saw me rebuilding accounts item by item for nearly 4 months solid!!!

My job as Admin often went much further then what most would think:

• I have spent all night speaking to someone who was contemplating suicide - they still come back from time to time to let me know they are okay.
• Given many staff and torn players somewhere to live either it be temporary, visiting or well over a year or so.
• I have fed jailed staff/committee members until they have shown me homework assignments so I can be sure I've done my part to make sure their priorities are in check.

This is just a few memories I have and will take with me. I have met my husband Hydro (in real life and game), my best friend bl0ndie (again, real life and game) and DaveO whom Hydro and I just pretty much adopted and call our own.

With that said, I will miss you guys, the community and the game as a whole. Things will change a bit with staff before I go and my job will be split between a few people. Most notably - Ched will take over the donations and Marc [24377] will become the new staff manager. Marc will deal with staff related issues only. All of this will be laid out much clearer in due course but please join in welcoming Marc into his new position.

Wow, this is a shock. You've been a fantastic community manager even when I was staff back in the day (a few years ago now).
It's really sad to see you going but I wish you the best of luck regardless with both yourself and Hydro.

Oh wow, This is kinda shocking.

Didnt expect this but Id like to thank you guys for everything you've done for Torn, Call it Passion and Commitment..

10 years isnt a small amount of time, All the work you've done over a decade really is Impressive

So once again Thanks for everything, I didnt know you guys much personally, But it is heart wrecking to see you guys leaving.
