I wonder if they will be increasing military aid to other countries as well ?

A lot of these is done to stimulate the american defence industry at the taxpayers expense.

According to the federal government, for fiscal year 2012, The United States remained the worlds largest bilateral donor, obligating approximately $48.4 billion$31.2 billion in economic assistance and $17.2 billion in military assistance. However, obligated funds are not the same as dispersed.

The U.S. disbursed $33.2 billion$19 billion in economic assistance to 184 countries and $14.2 billion in military assistance to 142 countries. Out of the top six U.S. foreign aid recipients, five of them were Muslim countries. And yet it seems the U.S. cant buy good press in the Middle East.

Under the agreement, Israel's ability to spend part of the funds on Israeli military products will be gradually phased out, eventually requiring all of the funds to be spend on American military industries. Israel's preference for spending some of the funds internally had been a major sticking point in the deal.

Should the military aid sent to other countries like Egypt and other muslim countries be revaluated as well ?

Hopefully the next president puts American lives first. Screw others. A countries leader should always put his or her own people first.

This aid package with Israel unfortunately just shows how insignificant ordinary Americans are in the eyes of the establishment.

I don't disagree with this statement, but to be fair.. if it had been a republican president doing this deal it would likely have been a lot more money being pissed away on Israel, so we should count ourselves lucky.

We can't afford to fix our roads, or electrical grids, or protect our own borders, or fund the fight against Zika, but we can send money to Israel. Seems a wise investment to me.... NOT! Especially as see what it gets us in the long run... more and more entanglement in the middle-east.

The 38BN is over 10 years so 3.8 a year. Up from the previous under the Bush government from 3.1.Did you have a problem with it then? And with every government prior to that. You make it sound like this just happened?

The USA spends 598BN every year on its military. Over half of all the money spent in a year.

These aid packages are about maintaining American dominance around the world. Multipass hit the nail on the head about your ignorant rage. These deals are not about charity, they are about making the rest of the world do what America wants and protecting American relations and trade routes.

There are merits to the isolationist attitude that you have, we could spend all our money on ourselves. But, if we go down that path we will NOT be the world economic and military power. The "f**k everyone else" attitude you have would piss the rest of the world off too much and they would team up and destroy the US.
