To me the main reason to join a company like clothing company is for one "great" special

I believe the 25% armour perk was that perk, while OP (not as much as the kick, the amount of times i was destroyed by kicks from lower stated players is testimony to this) I think the 20% reduction in the perk will do fine for the time being, I'd like to see how things are now before reducing it any further. In your case you and mikk are the elite of the elite, for the normal player 20% reduction is more felt with lower stat gaps while the elite of the elite need literally 100s of millions, sometimes billions, to get fair tests.

The company needs to offer a good special, if the 20% def buff stops being good, there is no reason to work for the company and it becomes dead content.

If the clothing store was SO HUGE then why is there not 200 clothing stores? Because everything else sucks being in one, that's why. NO money, no energy, no nothing. We give up a lot being in one, and just had 20% of why we are in one taken away, that's too much if you ask me.

Funny thing is, this special has been around for a very long time, but just a few weeks ago JFK (sitting in their Rigs and TV stations getting rich) actually did some fighting and said, "oh boy, this has to change, we are not liking people kicking us, or being able to last a few rounds with us" and the next thing you know both companies get screwed.

The name of this game should be changed to JFK's city.

While i agree with the fact the 20% nerf is a lot, it's not something i'm too annoyed over and it agrees well with my point to cindy.

however I am in 2.1 and agree with it not being lowered anymore, deft owns a 10* clothing company.

the idea of this being "JFKs" city based on this update is a little much.

look at the log below i will beat him 100/100 if we are both on full health! that is just stupidly over powered!

I know it's hard for you guys to read anything not written by each other but if you go back to what I said you will see I said passives so you are pointing a passive as if it's not included in "passives" because?

I looked at a lot of attack logs from the kick and armor and they were OP. They should be strong, but not better than elite weapons or armor.

I just casually race, but someone spending 2000 job point was getting +10 driving skill which is a years worth of work and too OP.

This is pretty much sums up my opinion about it aswell. Whilst the kick nerf seemingly is bigger, furniture stores have a lot of alternative specials that are somewhat decent. Whilst without the armour special being as strong as it is, a complete overhaul of all specials would be in order if it were to get further reduced.

Otherwise clothing stores would completely reduce their attractiveness and no one would be running them anymore!

OBJECTTTTTTTTT .....cause they already favored dex vs def so now a huge defensive player had finally some ....all comps are to specialize....all have pros n cons ...but i spend lots on heavy armour and now ts nerved ...if it was nerved from the start players make diff choices in the game for long term strategy

so i would have not whored def but dex instead and for the clothing company not joined and surely not spend that insane amount on good armour ....seems to me certain player group is favored every time the wank n cry.......

Heh there are less than 30 making any income in Torn already, and only 6 at 10* ... can't pull back much further than that. There are literally more Zoos than Clothing Stores in Torn.

Edit: oh, I guess Zoos can make some semi-decent money at the highest ranks, but still.

Yeah exactly [:tongue:] . They've never been popular, aside from the people that knew it had a good special, take that away and those people leave to.

I understand 25% armor boost is really really good, but to get that you have to give up a lot of other things that other companies offer.
A special should be special, a kick was better than a $25b gun, now its the same as a $10b one, fair enough, but to lower armor bonus any further would just kill those companies. Clothing stores didn't have a 250% bonus like a kick.

i don't want the company killed like i said before i want it to have a small advantage 60-65/100 wins on a fair even fight i think is a great special not 100/100 its a special which needs to be tested by ched and his devs and actually looked at hell if it stays the way it is ill just sell my company buy my self 40 stat enhancers but for those saying its not too strong right now please show some evidence of you hitting some one close in stats range full health and losing to them?

That 1st one is also me on Vico, during 1st beta test. the second one was after test was over and me drugged up on Xanax, so there's a 60% swing in my stats.

This all started when Z_junior stalemated me ONCE, while i was on Vico and Tyrosine, he kicked my ass the other 99 times, but i guess he wanted a 100% success rate.

i was drugged up on xan too we have a big stat difference fact is you will beat me 100/100 times when you are in a clothing store and i am in a tv if i join a clothing store then ill beat you 100/100 if you cant see whats wrong with that well i dont know then.
