To be fair, it still took you more turns to end the fight with Enfield. The sample is however not enough to judge. Perhaps someone can test out kicks vs weapons 5-10 times and average out how many turns it takes to end the fight.

Comparing the average damage from 1 attack from each weapon isn't a fair analysis. If you compare the chest damage it's 776 for enfield and 1184 for kick. That's 52% more damage with a kick than the enfield.

You sent a Feathery Hotel Coupon to HenkiePuk. Let's see some more comparisons xD

If you're only using kick then you don't need mastery, which is a whole lot of extra merits to use in passives etc

I remember I maxed 2-3 weapons during the Scrooge event (in which I hit loads I have to admit lol) and as the dude had huge life and it were all group attacks you would get in the maximum amount of hits all the time. So yeah admittedly I would have maxed these weapon faster than it would have been under normal circumstances - Still even if you get a friend to pillow up it can be done rather quickly.

I remember buying my furniture store back when they announced the new perks; it was the clear winner. spent time and money getting it to 10-star. then they nerfed it to 250% which was so disappointing. I'd be going out of my mind with the drop to 100%. if it's not going to help you punch above your pay grade, what's the point? and they dropped it to 100% without even making it more accurate? why even bother getting to 10-stars when you just ruin things just like that.

a job perk like the kick is one of the few ways for the average guy to compete with advanced players. most will never be able to afford the special weapons, but with a low barrier to entry and low stats needed to be in some of these companies, it lets the little guy join in. you don't like it, join a furni and fight fire with fire. no? you like another perk better, a money making job better? great, that's your choice. now once again, only the people with the $$ will have the fighting advantage. i think it stinks. I'm not even a furni owner and i think it stinks.

what's the point of having an advantage if you take away all the advantage??

Agree kick drop from 300%, 14K+ max damage, to 250%, 13K+max damage, now at 100%, 3k+ max damage is rediculous.

Ched, staff and committee's time is better spent creating new & better weapons, ammos, attachments, and armours, and stop chedding/nerfing with "great ideas" like -200% to 100% kick. When will you all ever learn it takes ages to find combinations that work fo rcertain game play styles, and changing them is alot like your reset in territories, blatently unfair to all the real players.

Which of the 10* company specials combination are now the best for an active war fighter? Given the tremendous drop in the kick? any ideas?

Nerfs

Furniture Store - Brute Force - 250% fist & kick damage
This has been reduced to 100%. After tests, it was clear that the special was OP. We wanted to bring it in-line with very high-tier weapons so compared the results to Dual SMG's. With the education courses and this special combined, kick will now do slightly more damage than Dual SMG's (but has less accuracy).

Clothing Store - Tailoring - 25% armor bonus
This has been reduced to 20% and the requirement has been increased to a 10*. The previous 10* Secret Pockets (75% opponent mugging reduction) is now 7*. The results were overpowered when combined with high-tier armour and may need adjusting again in the future.

Television Network - Press Pass - Random
The racing gain from one of the random press pass results has been reduced from 1 to 0.5. Due to its high cost and low chance of appearing, no further changes should be needed.

Started a new AOW Godfather's Meat - Meat Warehouse in the meantime, freshest meat in town, hoorah!

The one thing to come out of that second log Henkie is that you're a bit of a perve with a certain very specific fixation.

Back on topic though - you were what I'd consider to be unlucky not scoring at least a couple of crits in there, which would have swayed things well in favour of the kick attack.

My best damage 18k+ comes from kicks - OP af

Admit it was too strong, but the nerf has completely killed it

Well then join Clothing store?? But then again you wont have a steady income to buy FHCs and SE (which gives you permanent stats unlike clothing stores) or do a lot of other stuff bounties, revives, expensive weapons etc

You wouldn't even have that much stats if it wasn't for SE so maybe they should reduce the income of Oil rigs and TV..
Clothing isn't as good as you make it sound like..

You need to consider more than just battle stats when fighting.. Passive bonus, weapon mastery, critical hit chance, drug addiction, merits on weapon type mastery, books, Drug effects positive or negative..

You want logs, I will give you logs

the above logs are when I was in clothing store

And those are after I quit my job..

The attacks happened in the same day, we were testing it out so nothing changed...

Took him 9 hits to finish me off when I was in Clothing and 6 to 7 while I wasn't in it... Doesn't seem too OP
Majsan [843586]

The kick was a bit to OP maybe, but now it´s completely useless. To make a 10 star special useless seems weird to me. Better overhaul it completely and make it do something else instead.
Toni [420210]

furniture companies has still 1 unknown and unavailable special, i hope they make that special good considering the nerf they did to the kick...
Butters [34298]

The special is not unknown - it's a Crimes 2.0-related passive special:
Furniture Store
1 starCoffee Break3 energy(1 job points)
3 starHeavy LiftingStrength(1 job points)
5 starRemoval25% theft success rate and skill gain(Passive)
7 starBeefcake25% passive strength(Passive)
10 starBrute Force100% fist & kick damage(Passive)

thank you very much Butters :)

i guess furn employees can now be expert thieves :D
the passive strength will definitely come in handy when you are thieving and you can kick those pesky dogs going after you!
HenkiePuk [1043621]

Not really a fixation, these were the only 2 attacks I've done to compare kicks with an enfield in the exact same situation (same drug effects and no temp boosters involved).

I know 2 logs are not much to go by but if my first random hits already show I was actually better off with a simple $200k weapon that says something about the special. Makes it useless really.

Just saying 'kick does more damage than an enfield if you hit the chest' is not a fair way to compare, you should look at average damage per turn and also includes misses.

But yes I agree comparing 1000's of hits would be the only proper way to test it, just I'm not gonna spend all that e :P
