I was out of town this weekend and, after having a "Cartman did what?" conversation, I tried to read this thread, but like all Torn threads, it devolved into finger pointing and trolling. Anyway, I hope everyone had fun. I managed to pop up on the wall a few times from my phone but was quickly dispatched.
I think we can all see that the territories system is going to make for some interesting "super-alliances" when it is in those faction's best interest to do so. It will probably make for some interesting combinations where you will be playing alongside people you didn't know before and in some situations previous enemies will become friends. Factions are going to gang up on each other and it is going to suck when a couple of factions gang up on you. I'm not sure whether this is good or bad, but it seems clear this is where Ched is going with all of this, so we had best get used to it.

P.S. Also, whenever someone complains about downvotes, I thought the SOP was to downvote the post... I am not sure what I can believe in anymore.. Is Santa not real?
Actually it didn't suck that much. Kind of enjoyable being out numbered, havinf a DB dropped on you, and still winning. It's actually very satisfying :)

Strictly speaking as one of the little guys I was really just a speed bump on the wall. If it costs any energy there's no way I'd join unless the war is against AOW.
My "highlights" before I maxed med cd was one time getting attacked by 2 people which caused wasted e, and another time managing to self-jail before I was 2 shotted. At least in the older system I could be useful by attacking fillers or weaker players in other good factions. They didn't have to be online and on a wall.
