Duke is a parody of the stereotypical Torn player. He's an exaggeration of what we see when we look at each other. He's prideful, ignorant, chaotic, greedy, and employs Fabian tactics when he doesn't get his way. If you don't like it, then you've grown content and forgotten what it was like to be new and alone in the game.
As for the J Fox thing, usually mocking people who are incapable of defending themselves for things out of their control really irks me. But we're talking about a celebrity. Someone who literally is in the spotlight of the public eye. Its an acceptance of public criticism and mockery and while it is a tragedy for an awesome individual, its also part of the deal when you decide to become a public figure whether you understand that or not. So just shake it off people. You should appreciate the benefits of being a private citizen.
If you want to call Duke a petty scourge or Sugartits' writing mediocre and uninspired, please do so. But dont be hypocrits. Its the personification of everything we've been barking on about.

Duke is a playable character and that's cool but turning pretty much full attention on a single player is a little over the top.
Sure if Duke was attacking many players company employees I would say it's all good but he's not.
Attacking Duke is a mission given to you by DUKE HIMSELF. Bodybagger is a player who assists players in this mission like all the other players who need to be involved to beat Duke. To say this is just a parody of Torn players is pushing it in my opinion as there are tons of players who use duke missions as a way to upgrade weapons, work on stalemate merits as well as ammo missions.
I don't disagree with Duke being playable but a biased/emotional NPC is in poor taste.

Theres a difference between a normal player doing this shit and an almost unbeatable NPC with edited stats. Duke doesnt need to conserve his energy either, which gives him another advantage.

I am not a spokesperson for him so you can take it up with him yourself, personally I think there is a whole ton of complaining for nothing compared to what people do already in game - Duke is very very tame currently.
I remember a certain faction pretty much destroyed the game for a bunch of players who were just starting out for no real good reason than to crow about a chaining success on the forums.
That is all I got to say on the subject.

Duke sent a player $20,000,000 for hospitalising one of BodyBagger's employees, that is just unacceptable in my opinion. It's one thing attacking players but not only do I feel it is ridiculous how he is targeting one player, but to be giving out free money all the time just disrupts the balance of the Torn economy. I'm pretty sure he gave some random player a Private Island once.

I never understood how people get wind up over certain things, like the things Duke says, but it's okay to hack into mainframes, burn places down, do a little drive-by, transport some drugs, kidnap kids and mayors and on and on and on ...

As you seem to be very certain that Sugarvalves is running Duke i'm curious about your evidence.
Sugarvalves himself stated that he wasn't writing as Duke but a lot of members in our community seem to be so sure that he is which makes me really wondering where you got that info.
